Journey #31
What do you think of when you read that phrase? “Reaching Your Destination”. Do you think of a physical destination that you are travelling towards – and YAY! You got there! Or do you see your destination as more of a dream or something you aspire towards that may, or may not, happen?

In these posts, we are travelling through life in a way that reflects our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, and so I ask you: outside of a physical place, and focusing on the mental, emotional, and spiritual worlds you inhabit – what is your destination? Where do you see your Life Path taking you?
We all say we are on a journey through life, but it’s very rare that we think of our destination. Do we even have something to aim for or are we just meandering, bumping into things, falling over every now and then and reaching for the stars at other times?
The journey I have been travelling for the past few months is one of discovery where I have been seeking the deeper truths about Me – and that has lead me to a destination of sorts. Probably more of a rest spot on the road than a final goal. I’ve been wading through the emotional mind-mud of learning that I am neuro-divergent and now I am at the acceptance stage. I am learning to accept my wonky-wiring and I no longer try to hide my quirks in an attempt to blend in. That is something that is bringing to me a massive release from all the rubbish I’ve been carting around for decades. I don’t always fit in – and that is OK.
I know that at some point – probably soon – I am going to need to sit down and work out what next. My spiritual path has changed; my view of life has changed; my ability to be comfortable in my own skin is still in the process of change – and I have absolutely no idea what the destination, the ultimate goal of this incarnation, is.
Whatever it is, it’s going to be interesting finding out.
